Whose Story is this? This is the story of a 23-year-old boy Vikash Sharma of middle class background, a graduate from an engineering college, who does not know, in which direction he should pursue his career. He has a “not so dumb and not so cool” attitude. He is not a party guy, talks what he feels, is required and he hates to wear formal shirts. Vikash lives with his father, mother, and brother. In test cricket, a batsman’s most prior motive is to stay at the crease as much as he can, score as many runs as possible during his stay. As we all know that it is not mandatory for a test batsman to score runs in a particular number of overs. So, it becomes very important in test cricket to wait for the playable deliveries from the bowler for scoring runs and defending or leaving the unplayable deliveries. If any batsman goes for the unplayable delivery for scoring, then he has a great chance of being dismissed and troubling his team. Can life be looked upon as test cricket? There was a match of a tournament going on somewhere. It was an Inter School Cricket tournament. The batsman batting at that time was being easy on the bowlers. He was playing grounded and defensive shots as he was taking his time adjusting himself well for playing big shots later. That time, one of the teachers of some school said to another teacher, “Why is he in the team? He has not even hit a sixer till now from the morning. He is doing nothing but boring everyone.” In reply to this, the other teacher said, “why do you think so? Be positive. He is just taking his time. He is getting ready for a bigger inning. They are young children. Let’s motivate them. Winning is not everything, the improvement and development of the students are more important . Those were the days of the year 2010 , Vijay had only one exam left of his 10 th Board Examinations. The last exam was scheduled to be on the next day. He had the books and notebooks ahead of him, related to the subject he had exam of. His eyes were on the pages of the books & notebooks, and he was thinking about how to answer what kind of questions, what kind of questions he should answer first, had he read enough to get good marks in the exam, and how his life was going to be after the exam.
