When He Pressed the Buttons on that Device

Pravesh entered the office by his identification card where he works. Like him many entered the office and as the time passed the whole office got busy as usual. Then, Pravesh before powering his computer on, took out a device from his backpack, pressed a few buttons on the device and at that time the device got activated. After the device got activated he put the device in the drawer of his desk. A few moments later a ‘News’ notification got into everyone’s mobile phone in the office. The news was from an unknown website and the notification said, “Every educational and professional information of employees of different companies/organizations saved in different places are missing. Reasons for the same are not known.” But the information of the ones in the office where Pravesh works were safe. As we all know that it is not mandatory for a test batsman to score runs in a particular number of overs. So, it becomes very important in test cricket to wait for the playable deliveries from the bowler for scoring runs and defending or leaving the unplayable deliveries. He was playing grounded and defensive shots as he was taking his time adjusting himself well for playing big shots later. That time, one of the teachers of some school said to another teacher, “Why is he in the team? He has not even hit a sixer till now from the morning. He is doing nothing but boring everyone.” In reply to this, the other teacher said, “why do you think so? Be positive. He is just taking his time. He is getting ready for a bigger inning. Those were the days of the year 2010 , Vijay had only one exam left of his 10 th Board Examinations. The last exam was scheduled to be on the next day. He had the books and notebooks ahead of him, related to the subject he had exam of. His eyes were on the pages of the books & notebooks, and he was thinking about how to answer what kind of questions, what kind of questions he should answer first, had he read enough to get good marks in the exam, and how his life was going to be after the exam.
