It is all About Willpower
Introduction
What are the things needed for completing a work successfully? The answers to this question would be like the following. Some would say hard-work, some would say luck, presence of mind, curiosity, speed, talent, patience, etc. But all these things are of no use if there is no 'will' to do the required work.
Explaining About Willpower Through our Daily Life Stuff
Let us take an example of a
car which has an auto-driving mode, good mileage, good shock absorbing
facility, enough space for storing stuff and seating space for enough people.
However, the value of all these features would be zero if there is no fuel. So,
in our case, will acts as fuel for doing a work successfully.

Explaining About Willpower Through our Daily Life Stuff
Doing a work without a will is like eating something you don’t want to
eat or eating when you are not hungry. And if you do eat when you are not
hungry then it doesn't feel like eating the way it should be.
Leicester’s City Football Club's English Premier League win as an Example of Willpower
Let us have an example showing the power of will.
In the season 2015-2016 of the world famous English Premier League
football tournament , everybody was curious about the winner of this season, whether it would be the defending champions
Chelsea or Manchester United or Manchester City or the team "Arsenal" which had great
potential but had not won the tournament for a long time then. But the winner of the
season was the Leicester’s city football club the team which stood 14th in the
league points table in the previous season and two years before the team was
not playing in this league (Main League). No people would have ever thought
that this team would become the winners this season. This team is the best
example of having a good willpower. This team neither
had world renowned players nor a world renowned manager, but this team had the will to win and they showed the power of will. Will is
nothing but believing in yourself and this team believed in themselves , they
backed their abilities and achieved the thing anyone had never expected.
Story of a Pistol Shooter as an
Example of Willpower
The Ending Line
Let us have another example of willpower.
There was a guy named Károly Takács from the Hungarian army. He was the
best pistol shooter of the country. He had won all the national championships
held in their country. At that time , he was preparing for 1940 Olympic games,
but in 1938 , during an army training camp, he lost his right arm which was his
shooting arm. Do you know what he did next ? he didn't think about what he didn't have rather he focused on what he had. He trained hard to make his only
hand his best shooting hand. And do you know what forced him to do this? “His willpower” that is his will for competing in the
Olympics, his will for shooting. And it is not the end of the story. In 1939,
he won the national championships. Then, he focused on 1940 Olympics, but it
got cancelled due to world war, then he focused on 1944 Olympics but the same
story happened this year also. But he didn't stop, he competed in the 1948
Olympics with the shooters who were very younger than him and it is very
difficult to compete with the younger ones as young people are said to have
very good reflexes but he won there. He also won in the 1952 Olympics. So, this
was a great example of “ If you have a good will power ,then no one can stop
you from achieving what you want.”
