When you have a work in hand, always start from the basics.
Complete the basic, smaller and easier parts of the work, first. If you do so,
then you feel fresher, positive and confident to do the rest of the work.
Practically, you can examine that the people who work out the basic, easier and
smaller parts initially, complete the work more successfully than the ones who
do not do the same. So, start from the basics and start easy.
Introduction What are the things needed for completing a work successfully? The answers to this question would be like the following. Some would say hard-work, some would say luck, presence of mind, curiosity, speed, talent, patience, etc. But all these things are of no use if there is no 'will' to do the required work. Explaining About Willpower Through our Daily Life Stuff Doing a work without a will is like eating something you don’t want to eat or eating when you are not hungry. And if you do eat when you are not hungry then it doesn't feel like eating the way it should be. Let us take an example of a car which has an auto-driving mode, good mileage, good shock absorbing facility, enough space for storing stuff and seating space for enough people. However, the value of all these features would be zero if there is no fuel. So, in our case, will acts as fuel for doing a work successfully. Leicester’s City Football Club's English Premier Leag...
One guy after putting some things into his backpack moved ahead on a street. The street wasn’t crowded very much but it wasn’t lonely as well. While walking on the street, the backpack guy reached the location of a bus stop and stopped there. At that time at the bus stop, a bus having a lot of people going towards their destinations arrived, and around 4-5 people got out of the bus. One lady and one guy among those people kept walking after getting out of the bus and the others remained there at the bus stop. The backpack guy went towards a guy who was standing at the bus stop wearing a dark blue formal shirt and black pants. Backpack guy: Hi. Blue shirt guy: Hello. Backpack guy: Are you waiting for someone to pick you up from here? Blue shirt guy: Yes, I am waiting for another bus that would take me to my place. Backpack guy: Before you get into a bus you might like some things that I have. Let me show you. The backpack guy took out very well and neatly f...
There was a match of a tournament going on somewhere. It was an Inter School Cricket tournament. The batsman batting at that time was being easy on the bowlers. He was playing grounded and defensive shots as he was taking his time adjusting himself well for playing big shots later. That time, one of the teachers of some school said to another teacher, “Why is he in the team? He has not even hit a sixer till now from the morning. He is doing nothing but boring everyone.” In reply to this, the other teacher said, “why do you think so? Be positive. He is just taking his time. He is getting ready for a bigger inning. They are young children. Let’s motivate them. Winning is not everything, the improvement and development of the students are more important . So, just keep calm and relax.” Observation of the Scenario In this scenario, we can observe two kinds of people and they are the two mentioned teachers. The first teacher seemed both demotivating and impatient but the oth...
What does ‘Me Time’ mean to me? ‘Me Time’ means a lot to me. It makes me enter a zone where I can keep account of my good works & mistakes of my past and the stuff which I have to do which I feel would be good for me. The good works whether small or big make me motivated especially in the times when I don’t feel so good about myself. The mistakes make me check on the stuff in which I have to learn from or improve in. After thinking about these past stuff, I plan things for moving ahead in my ways and do a little Pranayama and exercises. I do these things because I think they are going to be beneficial to me. ‘Me Time’ is very important to me We go through many situations in our life. We get many thoughts in our mind. We meet different people with different mindsets whether they are our relatives, friends or any stranger. Apart from these, we also have certain duties and goals in our life which sometimes get away from our sight because of the above-mentioned ...
In test cricket, a batsman’s most prior motive is to stay at the crease as much as he can, score as many runs as possible during his stay. As we all know that it is not mandatory for a test batsman to score runs in a particular number of overs. So, it becomes very important in test cricket to wait for the playable deliveries from the bowler for scoring runs and defending or leaving the unplayable deliveries. If any batsman goes for the unplayable delivery for scoring, then he has a great chance of being dismissed and troubling his team. Can life be looked upon as test cricket? I always feel that our life is also like test cricket where we are like the batsmen in the game. We face many opportunities, challenges, and problems in our life. The opportunities, challenges, and problems act like balls bowled to us in our lives. In my opinion, we should try to score fours and sixes on opportunities, that is, making most of them, take runs between the wickets on the challenges or you ...
If you are a spider-man movie fan, then you must have heard this dialogue, “with great power, comes great responsibility”. I just want to add something to this dialogue, “With great responsibility, come greater distractions”. Yes, you heard right, distraction is a thing, which no one would not have faced. Distractions While Exams(especially during board exams) Now, it is the time of board exams, who would be better than the students to ask about the distractions at this time. Most of the students read the textbook with the distraction of reading the text messages on the phone. What is the reason for this distraction? It’s because today’s students are habituated with chatting through phones. Is it really a distraction for the students. I think students don’t take this as a distraction but their parents do. At first, I said, “with great responsibility, come greater distractions”. In this case, parents see the board exams as a responsibility, and the other things studen...
Those were the days of the year 2010 , Vijay had only one exam left of his 10 th Board Examinations. The last exam was scheduled to be on the next day. He had the books and notebooks ahead of him, related to the subject he had exam of. His eyes were on the pages of the books & notebooks, and he was thinking about how to answer what kind of questions, what kind of questions he should answer first, had he read enough to get good marks in the exam, and how his life was going to be after the exam. He had a little bit of nervousness about the exam and a lot of excitement about the exam getting over. One of the reasons for his excitement was also that the results were going to be announced after around 2 months unlike in the cases of other final exams he had appeared from the beginning of his school days till class- ix, where the results used to get announced within 10 days of the last exam. The Exams got Over Finally, Vijay’s exams were over. That time, how good or bad his e...
In my childhood, after seeing my sad face, my mother used to say, “God has given equal abilities to everyone, we should never feel lesser than anyone.” Then, I used to believe that and smile back to my mother. But now, I think that the Almighty has made all of us different from others so that we can make our own identity different from others and the difference comes from lots of stuff. So that we don’t look like a copy or replica of others. Usually, we don’t get this and try to do blindly what others are doing without knowing ourselves properly. Everybody begins his/her life in different surroundings. A person gets his/her qualities from the surroundings where he/she spends his her time. An Example of how Rohan and his life can be different from others Let’s have a look at this scenario. There is a boy named Rohan. Both of his parents are working. Everybody knows the amount of responsibilities parents have on their shoulders as both of their parents work...
Advik had reached his home from the school at around 3:00 PM like every day. His mom then served lunch for him on the dining table. After freshening up, Advik had his lunch and went to take a nap in his room. Then, the clock in his room was showing 3:32 PM. After about 2 hours and 30 minutes, Advik’s mom began trying to wake him up for his coaching classes , which resulted in Advik changing his sleeping positions and not trying to wake up. But, when his mom aggressively shook him up, he had to wake up. Then, he got ready for his coaching classes, put the required books and notebooks in his bag, and went for his coaching center by riding on his bicycle. He had classes from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM that day in the coaching center. His friend Lokesh with his (Lokesh’s) bicycle joined him on his way. According to what I read in some English newspapers, If you are born between January 20 th and February 18 th , your zodiac sign is “Aquarius”. If you are born between February 19 th and March 19 th , your zodiac sign is “Pisces”. If you believe in the above, then do you know how is it going to benefit you? If you properly observe any astrologers, you would get to know that most of their sentences contain “may”. This means that there is no guarantee that it is going to happen with you. I take the predictions as “the pitch report before a match” and life as cricket matches or tournaments. Always believe in yourselves and consider the predictions if they are positive for you and if not, forget about it, but don’t sit back and ride on it.
People all over the world, live their lives in three modes. These 3 modes are as follows: (i) Movie Mode: people get inspired from movie characters and want to achieve the things in their lives the movie character achieved till they (people) see another movie. (ii) Lamb Mode : When anyone does something cool or something got him/her money then the people follow him/her like lambs and they don’t even know, to what destination they are going. (iii) The Right Way mode: The people in this mode follow their heart, choose their destination and plan through their brains about the steps required to reach their destinations.
There is a park in my city which is 8 kilometers away from where I live. I like to spend time there and everyone should spend some time in a park like it because it is surely going to make your day. Now, I am going to describe the things about the park and the similar ones which would make you feel good. When I visit the Park I am not that kind of guy who every day goes to the park, jogs & exercises there but I try to do the same once or twice a week as I don’t get time because of my works and the reason that I have my little workout at my house. I always visit the park one-half to two hours before the sunset. Every time, when I reach the park I always see a lot of motorbikes and bicycles in the park’s parking area. While entering the park, there is a feeling of going through a different zone. In this zone, you get a great environment where there are many kinds of people and kids relaxing in their own ways like they have transformed into a new version of themselves. ...

Great Moment of History It was a great moment of history for India yesterday as India beat South Korea in the nail-biting thriller Gold Medal match with help of great performances from everyone especially from Suresh Kumar and Harpal Singh. Earlier Kabaddi was a sport which was mainly played by the people belonging to Indian villages. It was played by the people barefoot on the soil. In a restaurant, Arush saw that a guy was arguing very angrily with the manager because of the bill he had got. The manager was trying to make him understand the matter politely but the angry guy was not in the mood of understanding anything. Arush couldn’t stop himself from getting into the matter. He (Arush) asked both of them (The manager and the angry guy ) about the matter. Both of them told Arush their versions of the matter. After hearing from both of them, Arush got that the angry guy was at fault. when he told the same to the guy, the guy pushed Arush, punched the manager and was rushing nearer to him (manager) to give him few more punches.
