The Story of a 23-year-old
Whose Story is this?
This is the story of a 23-year-old boy Vikash Sharma of middle class background, a graduate from an engineering college, who does not know, in which direction
he should pursue his career. He has a “not so dumb and not so cool” attitude.
He is not a party guy, talks what he feels, is required and he hates to wear
formal shirts. Vikash lives with his father, mother, and brother. Vikash’s family is not
happy about the way in which he is taking his life.
Throughout his life
Throughout his life, Vikash has always wanted to make a
difference in his life. From his childhood to
his present age, he has been hearing about what his friends and cousins want to
be in their lives, some said they would be engineer, some said cricketer,
dancer, doctor, etc. but Vikash was never sure, what he wants to do in his
life, till now he does not know. Whatever Vikash knows or not, one thing he
knows that he wants to do a job which no one is there to do, he wants to do
something, for which he gets credit, he wants a work which after its completion
is useful to anyone and if possible he (Vikash) gets a 'Thank You' for the same.
As a kid and till now, he has never been demanding to his friends
or family. He always wanted to earn something for his parents. He doesn’t have
a girlfriend because he doesn’t want to spend his parents’ money on her (girlfriend), and he would also not like if his girlfriend would spend on him
mostly.
Vikash has 3 friends
Vikash has 3 friends Guddu, Bittu, and Mahesh. Each of his
friends has different specialties, hobbies, and interests. He loves to hang out with them. Vikash
discusses with his 3 friends that he is not sure what he has to do in his life.
After hearing this thing from Vikash, his
friends take in charge of this issue. They one by one, help him trying new
things with their stuff and connections. The friends stick together and solve
the problems which come in their way cleverly, intelligently and in many other
ways. While helping Vikash, the other 3 friends find what they actually love to
do in their lives.
At last............
At last, in the process of trying out the things suggested
by his friends, he finds out that he loves helping everyone, but was ignoring it in the zeal of doing something. Then,
he establishes an organization with his friends
which helps people from every generation
and receives the payment if the organization is able to solve their problems and the client
has to pay within his budget for the problem which is discussed earlier with the
organization. So, it was all about the
struggles of finding a direction for
Vikash with the help of his friends and the problems faced by Vikash and his
friends while setting up the organization.
Let’s wait for some while to explore all the things which
were part of this journey of Vikash.

Nice and different story. Waiting for the future posts
ReplyDeleteThere are so many people like Vikash wanting to do something different and are yet to find their path even after many years. The peer pressures does constrain the aspirations and are forced into occupation just to earn money to fulfill their commitments such as taking care of parents/ etc.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for the next part
I like that you have broken it down in three parts. A number of people just miss out on what the enjoy doing and instead just join the career bandwagon. Hopefully Vikas will figure out a way of making a career doing what he enjoys.
ReplyDeleteNice. I love a personal blog. Are you Vikash? Looking forward to reading more
