When He Pressed the Buttons on that Device

Pravesh entered the office by his identification card where he works. Like him many entered the office and as the time passed the whole office got busy as usual. Then, Pravesh before powering his computer on, took out a device from his backpack, pressed a few buttons on the device and at that time the device got activated. After the device got activated he put the device in the drawer of his desk. A few moments later a ‘News’ notification got into everyone’s mobile phone in the office.

The news was from an unknown website and the notification said, “Every educational and professional information of employees of different companies/organizations saved in different places are missing. Reasons for the same are not known.” But the information of the ones in the office where Pravesh works were safe.

After the office hours got over, Pravesh took out the device from the drawer, turned it off by pressing a few buttons on it, put it back in his backpack, got out of the office, and left for his house. When he reached his house he put down the backpack from his shoulder and then at first he took out the device from the backpack and pressed some buttons on it but this time the buttons he pressed were not the same buttons he had pressed earlier in the day, the buttons he pressed recently were the other buttons of the device. The device got activated and after a few minutes another ‘News’ notification like the same earlier in the day, got to every employee’s phone who worked in the office where Pravesh works. This time the notification read, “The people are missing, the people working in different companies/organizations whose educational and professional information were missing, are missing. The reasons for the same are still unknown.”

Then, the people who got this notification started messaging and calling the ones in their company/organization and the ones they know in other company/organization to check if they are safe.
