With Great responsibility come Greater Distractions

If you are a spider-man movie fan, then you must have heard this dialogue, “with great power, comes great responsibility”. I just want to add something to this dialogue, “With great responsibility, come greater distractions”. Yes, you heard right, distraction is a thing, which no one would not have faced.

Distractions While Exams(especially during board exams)
Now, it is the time of board exams, who would be better than the students to ask about the distractions at this time.
Most of the students read the textbook with the distraction of reading the text messages on the phone. What is the reason for this distraction? It’s because today’s students are habituated with chatting through phones. Is it really a distraction for the students. I think students don’t take this as a distraction but their parents do.
At first, I said, “with great responsibility, come greater distractions”. In this case, parents see the board exams as a responsibility, and the other things student usually do, as distractions. But, they should not think so because it makes them (students) feel like as there is a heavy crown over their head making their life difficult, that’s why they (students) try to find ways of releasing pressure through the so-called “distractions”. If the parents would try to understand their children during the exam time they would know about their (students) interests and through those interests they (parents) would be able to give proper advice to the children about the exams and the even bigger exam called “life” which would release the pressure off their (students) minds and the distractions would become refreshments.

                Distractions Related to Cricket
Now, let’s talk about cricket while playing street cricket or cricket on local small ground, we love hitting sixes, fours, taking wickets, catches, running out any player and all other fun stuff.
Now, ask yourself one question. How do we react when our favorite cricketers fail to do the above-mentioned things? We scream at our tv sets, get frustrated, start trolling them, but, we forget one very important thing. That is, when we play our cricket, there is almost no one to watch and there is almost no pressure on us. We play the game for fun on our local small ground, but the professional cricketers play around many distractions. They play in front of 30,000 spectators and more and also the match is telecasted on tv and online. They play with the whole country’s or their club’s responsibility on their shoulders. Also, if any player is going through a bad phase then he/she has the distraction of getting axed from the team. The players who overcome these distractions are great and the ones who face difficulties overcoming them need our support, the support of the fans.

Distractions When you think of Starting Your Career
After completing your study, when you look for being employed, then free job advice get showered from everywhere. Usually, these job advice come from our very close ones, relatives & friends. They don’t give advice on the basis of your interests and expertise but according to their real-life experiences and that of their friends, but, you should follow and trust your abilities and expertise to get the things done treat most of the free advice as distractions.

                                 Distractions on Roads
Do you know where should you take distractions very seriously? The answer is, while you are on the road. There are people who search for different stuff while on the road. We search for different shops, directions, love, etc. These are the distractions which should come after safe riding/driving or walking on the road unless you can be a part of a bad accident or even worse.

So, the examples above show that with great responsibility come greater distractions.

  8. You have covered the entire gamut of the spread of "distractions", so well! I have seen many distracted drivers on the road. They not only cause harm to themselves but also pose a danger/ safety concern for others on the road.
