The Guy and the Kid seemed like Father and Daughter
The guy and the kid seemed like father and daughter. The kid was smiling and giggling very cutely and was very playful with her father. She (The Kid) seemed of age, around ‘Two and Half years’. She was very happy at that time. Sometimes, she would be sitting on his lap and sometimes she would be jumping off from his lap to the seat, then, jumping back again to his lap with exchanging smiles with the guy. While this fun was going on between them (The guy and the kid), the guy was feeding her biscuits one by one.
Ramesh (to the guy, while looking at the kid): She is very cute. I think she loves her father more than her mother.
The Guy (while laughing): You can say so.
Ramesh: How old is she?
The Guy: She is two and a half years of age. You don’t have much luggage with you, I guess you are not traveling too far.
Ramesh: You are right. I will be on the train till the next station.
The Guy (with a smile): Okay. If you don’t mind, I have to play with my princess now.
Ramesh (while laughing a little): Ohh, please play. I would not disturb you two.
Till the next 45 minutes, the guy was playing with his daughter and Ramesh was in-between looking at them and smiling. It seemed like Ramesh was feeling relaxed being present before them.
The train had got nearer to the next station, so, Ramesh was getting ready to get down the train, while leaving his seat Ramesh said to the kid, “Bye Princess” and said to the guy, “Bye sir. Take care of yourself and your princess.” In reply to Ramesh, the kid said, “Bye uncle” with a big smile while waving both of her hands and the guy just nodded his head vertically with a straight face. After Ramesh went out of the train through the ‘Exit’ of the bogie, the guy took his big suitcase, a long bag, and took the kid on his shoulder and got out of the train. The kid had fallen asleep on his shoulder.
After getting out of the train, the guy phone-called someone. He said on the phone, “Is the car ready? I am ready with the kid and all the required things in the bag.” While the guy was talking on the phone, someone put his hand on the guy’s shoulder from behind. When the guy looked back he saw that it was Ramesh.
Ramesh (to the Guy): Hello sir. When I saw both of you, I thought to have a chat with you. So, you also had to get off the train at this station. By the way, I work for the Police.
Meanwhile, in a house, a telephone started ringing. A worried lady picked up the phone. Someone from the other end of the phone said, “Your daughter is safe with us now as the Police have done their work.” In the house, there was a family-photograph which also had the kid with one guy and the lady who picked up the phone, but, the guy who was with the kid on the train, was not in that photograph.
