Conversation with That Successful Guy


Reporter (to a guy who got successful recently): Hello sir. Congratulations to you on this achievement of yours.

That Successful Guy: Thank you, thank you so much for this appreciation. It means a lot.

Reporter: Do you realize what great you have done for so many people? This is changing so many lives today. How was your journey? How did this thing strike your mind?

That Guy: The idea came to me from a problem that was being faced by someone I know. And the journey had its share of ups and downs.

Reporter: Can you please share this great journey with us?

That Guy: I think it would be better to share this journey with all through a book, series or movie but right now, I can summarize it for you within few lines. 

So, here follows my journey:

When this idea struck my mind, initially I was scared about whether I would be able to achieve it or not, but I kept moving ahead.

Then, I was scared about what people will say after hearing my idea, which may demotivate me, but I kept believing in it and moving ahead.

Then, I got scared when the people who are very close to me and other people, started doubting my idea and tried to oppose me, but I did not stop myself from believing in it and continued my journey, then………………  I am sharing this journey of mine with some nice people.

Reporter: Great. Good one. Don’t you think you just said what many others had said before?

That Guy: Yeah right. But, still, people don’t get that, the journey is the same but the ways are different, and nobody knows the ways better than the person himself/herself. The journey gets easier the more he/she opens his/her mind or has a clear mind. I think that’s all I can say now and the remaining you can get from the series, movie or book.

If you are a spider-man movie fan, then you must have heard this dialogue, “with great power, comes great responsibility”. I just want to add something to this dialogue, “With great responsibility, come greater distractions”. Yes, you heard right, distraction is a thing, which no one would not have faced. Distractions While Exams(especially during board exams) Now, it is the time of board exams, who would be better than the students to ask about the distractions at this time. Most of the students read the textbook with the distraction of reading the text messages on the phone. What is the reason for this distraction? It’s because today’s students are habituated with chatting through phones. Is it really a distraction for the students. I think students don’t take this as a distraction but their parents do. There was a match of a tournament going on somewhere. It was an Inter School Cricket tournament. The batsman batting at that time was being easy on the bowlers. He was playing grounded and defensive shots as he was taking his time adjusting himself well for playing big shots later. That time, one of the teachers of some school said to another teacher, “Why is he in the team? He has not even hit a sixer till now from the morning. He is doing nothing but boring everyone.” In reply to this, the other teacher said, “why do you think so? Be positive. He is just taking his time. He is getting ready for a bigger inning. They are young children. Let’s motivate them. Winning is not everything, the improvement and development of the students are more important .   One guy after putting some things into his backpack moved ahead on a street. The street wasn’t crowded very much but it wasn’t lonely as well. While walking on the street, the backpack guy reached the location of a bus stop and stopped there.
