Conversation with That Successful Guy


Reporter (to a guy who got successful recently): Hello sir. Congratulations to you on this achievement of yours.

That Successful Guy: Thank you, thank you so much for this appreciation. It means a lot.

Reporter: Do you realize what great you have done for so many people? This is changing so many lives today. How was your journey? How did this thing strike your mind?

That Guy: The idea came to me from a problem that was being faced by someone I know. And the journey had its share of ups and downs.

Reporter: Can you please share this great journey with us?

That Guy: I think it would be better to share this journey with all through a book, series or movie but right now, I can summarize it for you within few lines. 

So, here follows my journey:

When this idea struck my mind, initially I was scared about whether I would be able to achieve it or not, but I kept moving ahead.

Then, I was scared about what people will say after hearing my idea, which may demotivate me, but I kept believing in it and moving ahead.

Then, I got scared when the people who are very close to me and other people, started doubting my idea and tried to oppose me, but I did not stop myself from believing in it and continued my journey, then………………  I am sharing this journey of mine with some nice people.

Reporter: Great. Good one. Don’t you think you just said what many others had said before?

That Guy: Yeah right. But, still, people don’t get that, the journey is the same but the ways are different, and nobody knows the ways better than the person himself/herself. The journey gets easier the more he/she opens his/her mind or has a clear mind. I think that’s all I can say now and the remaining you can get from the series, movie or book.

In my childhood, after seeing my sad face, my mother used to say, “God has given equal abilities to everyone, we should never feel lesser than anyone.” Then, I used to believe that and smile back to my mother. There was a match of a tournament going on somewhere. It was an Inter School Cricket tournament. The batsman batting at that time was being easy on the bowlers. He was playing grounded and defensive shots as he was taking his time adjusting himself well for playing big shots later. That time, one of the teachers of some school said to another teacher, “Why is he in the team? He has not even hit a sixer till now from the morning. He is doing nothing but boring everyone.” In reply to this, the other teacher said, “why do you think so? Be positive. He is just taking his time. He is getting ready for a bigger inning. Pravesh entered the office by his identification card where he works. Like him many entered the office and as the time passed the whole office got busy as usual. Then, Pravesh before powering his computer on, took out a device from his backpack, pressed a few buttons on the device and at that time the device got activated. After the device got activated he put the device in the drawer of his desk. A few moments later a ‘News’ notification got into everyone’s mobile phone in the office. The news was from an unknown website and the notification said, “Every educational and professional information of employees of different companies/organizations saved in different places are missing. I Saw IPL Grow

Things were very different before IPL (Indian Premiere League). Before IPL, as a school kid, I used to play carroms, do my holiday homework or watch movies and other stuff on T.V. on my summer vacation.  But, all of these things changed when the Indian Premier League came into existence , my playing, studying & other stuff did not collide with the IPL match timings. One day, in the afternoon, at a railway station,   Ramesh booked a train-ticket for himself and got on a train with his small backpack . The heat was not much that day, but also the weather that day, was not utterly pleasant.
