He made Fun of his Friend
There was a
group of school friends. Everybody in the school knew about that group. The friends were
very fond of each other. Their bonding was such good that they never cared about anything when they were with each other
one of the friends was making fun of another friend
One day,
one of the friends was making fun of
another friend’s nose. She then replied to it by saying, “Yeah, say whatever
you want to, I don’t care about it. It doesn’t affect me. ” The other friends
also joined him.
The naughty
friend took this as a challenge and made fun of her after every period break and made the other friends laugh. He did this because he knew that everything
has a limit and he wanted to cross that limit. At last, he was successful in his
motive. The girl couldn’t tolerate more and her eyes got filled with tears. He
said to the girl while laughing and celebrating, “I did it. It does affect you. I made you
cry.” This thing made the girl very sad and embarrassed. She got very low on
confidence that day. She got up from her seat and went to a vacant seat away from her friends. She kept maintaining a distance from his friends after that incident.
The
class teacher told everyone to pay attention to something
After a week, in the morning, the class teacher told everyone to pay attention to
something. She (The Class Teacher) said to everyone,
“
This is a
letter written by the mother of this girl whose friends made fun of her which
had affected her (girl) self-belief and confidence. In the letter, she has stated that she wants her
daughter to be confident and happy the way she was always. So, I request you to
please make her solve this matter with her friends as she can’t see her
daughter like this. I hope the friends have understood what this letter is
about. It’s very awful to hurt anyone’s sentiments especially if he/she is not
going for any bad thing and you should be ashamed of yourself if you are doing
the same. Now it’s your responsibility to talk to
your dear friend and cheer her up.
”
The
Friends went to Her
Then, the
friends went to her friend (the girl) and apologized. The naughty friend said, “I
am really very sorry. I did not know that it will hurt you that much. Please
forgive me. ” Another friend said, “Everything we were saying that day was just
for fun, we didn’t really mean it and now
we are feeling very bad about that day as it made you feel bad. Please forgive us.” She replied(while smiling after a long time), “Okay, I forgive
you but no more fun on my nose” Then, they made everything okay with a lovely group hug.
What
if the mother had not written the letter?
What if the mother had not written the letter?
The girl would not have talked with her friends ever & lost her best
friends. She would have become less confident since
then. That’s why it’s always good to think about your problem, face it, talk
about it and solve it rather than avoiding it. Thanks to the girl's mother and the class teacher that they patched things up.
I read the whole story. True, these kind of situations always arise throughout life. But kids patch up quickly. For adults ego comes in between.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the mother's letter saved their friendship.
