Anything that matters is What and How You want Something to Get
Vikash: Oh!
You are late today.
Naveen:
Last night, we had a success party in our
office and the boss has also given us a
holiday today.
Vikash:
Success Party! Great! It seems your boss has netted a big fish.
Naveen: Yeah, and we have also got some of the big fish.
Vikash:
Congrats on that. Now, I have to bath and
leave for office or I will be late.
Neighbors
in a City
Naveen and Vikash are neighbors to each other in a city. They are not the best of friends
but usually meet during festive occasions in the society, wave to each other while
going to their respective offices & have a conversation like the one above.
Vikash
was very good in His Studies
Vikash in his childhood
was a boy whom Indian relatives and neighbors call “A Good Boy”. He has always
obeyed his parents and others. He was very good in his studies. He did
engineering and also scored good marks there and was placed in a very good and
popular company.
Naveen
is slightly a Different One
Whereas, Naveen
is slightly a different one. It’s not like that he respected his elders less
than Vikash did but the difference was his academic performance. He was an average
student in his studying days but he was always interested in understanding
things using practical ways. He was not good at memorizing stuff and all. He
had not got placed in any company but after his college,
he had started doing small and temporary jobs & his own project. Through
his experience and abilities in his previous works, he got a better job. He is
very popular in his company and handles their very important projects.
Vikash
needs to be Positive
Now, it has been three years since Vikash has
got his job through placements. He was very happy there but now he is having
hard ways there. He is now feeling like not moving ahead in his career. It’s
because he had not faced this situation in his life before. Earlier he used to
have easy solutions to his problems, study and ask for help from the people
around him. But, this is the time when usually you don’t find anyone who could
help you. This time, he feels that everyone is in competition with him. In my
opinion, he needs to think about his life goal, take suggestions from the
others and which one (suggestion) to follow and which one to not. He needs to
be positive and take failures as steps towards his goals (as he has not failed
in the things which he had done before).
At
last, I would like to say that it’s not about who you are or how you were, the only thing that matters is that what you want
to get and how you want to get.
Lessons of life helps one survive better. To grow in life one needs the knowledge acquired from out side the class rooms.
ReplyDeleteVery well expressed and conveyed, Abhishek.
Spending student life totally in bookish knowledge is not enough to face the obstacles of life.
ReplyDeleteVery nice presentation.
