To cheat or not to cheat in exams

Why do students cheat in exams?

a) They (students) want to score more marks with less effort.
b)Syllabus doesn’t get completed in time, but, the questions in the exam come from the overall syllabus.
c)Pressure from parents & peer-pressure to score good marks.

By doing so, cheating may become a habit for the students and this may lead to corruption. Cheating has the tendency to make people do less effort for their jobs but expect more results than they deserve.

If you would ask the students (who cheat frequently), ”why do you cheat?”, then, the answers of most of the students would be , “we don’t get taught ,the right way. The teachers are not good.”, but that's always not true.

Everyone gets crazy when a bollywood movie copies a Hollywood movie or a south-Indian movie, then why not discuss about this issue of cheating, which in, some, way is the base of these things.

To solve this issue, the following things may be considered.The syllabus should be such that it can be completed in time. It should be such that a student can at least have the basic knowledge of each chapter, or, if possible, some chapters should be made optional, so that, the students get to choose chapters which they have interest in.

Most importantly, for students, parents and teachers, learning should be the top priority, not marks. Hope, everyone would take this issue seriously after reading this.

If you are a spider-man movie fan, then you must have heard this dialogue, “with great power, comes great responsibility”. I just want to add something to this dialogue, “With great responsibility, come greater distractions”. Yes, you heard right, distraction is a thing, which no one would not have faced. Distractions While Exams(especially during board exams) Now, it is the time of board exams, who would be better than the students to ask about the distractions at this time. There was a match of a tournament going on somewhere. It was an Inter School Cricket tournament. The batsman batting at that time was being easy on the bowlers. He was playing grounded and defensive shots as he was taking his time adjusting himself well for playing big shots later. That time, one of the teachers of some school said to another teacher, “Why is he in the team? He has not even hit a sixer till now from the morning.   One guy after putting some things into his backpack moved ahead on a street. The street wasn’t crowded very much but it wasn’t lonely as well. My Memories with Comic Books

My cousin brother had a great collection of Indian comic books. I was introduced to the comic book world by him (my cousin brother). When I was a kid, I used to stay at my cousin’s place on some weekends. Those days were of great fun. Me and my cousins (one sister & one brother, both are elder than me). Those weekends were about my cousins and me playing with a rubber ball, playing video-games, listening to songs and a little bit of studying too. I got to know what a comic-book is One day, at my cousin’s place, I noticed a bundle of thin books kept on the bookshelf . Then I asked my brother about the books. My brother said to me, “These are not only books, these are comic books.”   But I had no idea what a comic book is. My brother took out a comic book from the bundle and tried to put some comic book sense into my head. The pictures, the narrations and the dialogues in the comic-books fascinated me a lot.
