Letter of Invitation to an Event

One day, when I checked my mailbox, there was a letter of invitation to an event. It was mentioned in the letter that many popular and powerful personalities of the globe are going to attend it.

It was followed by “You are being invited to this event as a lucky invitee for being with us(The place where I usually shop) for so many years”

At that time, an invitation to a glamorous and mesmerizing global event in my hand, I think I was the most excited and happiest person in the world at that moment.

A Chance to travel by Flight for the First Time

Other than these things, one thing that I was excited for was that I had to travel there by flight (as other than the letter, there was a flight ticket to the place with another ticket to return) and I had never boarded a flight before then but I had a passport. I was so excited about it that I didn’t even care about the place having a weird name, which I had never heard of. Since my flight was on the next morning, so, I rushed towards packing my stuff for a travel to explore the unknown land for 4 days. It was like going on a blind date with the world.

The next morning, I reached the airport in time, completed the required procedures before boarding the flight. I and other passengers began climbing up the stairs to the entry of the plane. The air hostesses did their job of welcoming us, making us comfortable, giving us the required instructions about the flights and many other things.

My Experience in the Flight

My experience in a flight was new but I felt very much homely and friendly there. Things were different but great, and how could not it be, it was Lufthansa.

In the flight, I got to know about different cultures, the behavior of different people (by observing them), especially the people who were sitting nearer to me. People having conversations with other people from different cultures and regions shows how openminded they are.

It was very different

The flight was beginning to land and then I started feeling weird again like I was feeling while the plane was taking off. Finally, the plane was on the floor and I where I had to be. Then, I saw something which was weirder than what I was feeling during my first takeoff and landing. The airport was not crowded much. There were very few people there unlike the airport from where I boarded the flight.

The Person in the Counter

In the less crowded and very different looking airport, I noticed a counter near a board which read “Ask any question”. I went there and asked a person there about the place mentioned in the invitation letter.

The Person:  The place you are looking for is here. It’s the whole place.

Me: Thank you. I know this is the city, but, I need to know about the place in the city which is hosting this event. (I showed the person the invitation letter)

The Person: I am not kidding. This is the place you are looking for. This is the event. This is everything for us.

Me: I think you are kidding. What kind of place or event is this?

The Person: This is the place where anything anyone does is an achievement.

                       This is the place where no one has a job title or description. Here, the job for everyone

                        is development not his or her but of everyone. Here, we have one bank and one bank

                        account which is in name of the city, the money in the bank is always used by the

                        Needy. No one here is a liar. There is no corruption and other rubbish things here.

Me:  Okay. I believe you, but, where are the celebrities mentioned in the letter?

(I showed him the letter again)

The Person: My friend, everyone is a celebrity here. See there, here comes the celebrity mentioned in your letter.

Me: Oh wow. I am a big fan of his movies.

The Person: Go meet him.

Me: Can I directly meet him face to face and take selfies with him?

The Person: Yeah, you can do that very easily here.

Me: But why has he come here?

The Person: He knows this place. He is a guy who believes in goodness and equality. These kinds of people visit here and can live here as much they want to.

The things I did at that Place

After this conversation with the person in the counter, I met my favorite stars present there. Then, I went to the big guest house which had enough space for the people coming to the city. The hospitality in the guest house is great. In my stay, I got to do different kinds of works. I did farming and also helped one physicist in her work and many things there. On the last day of my stay, when I woke up in the morning, it felt like the things I have done in the past few days were in my bucket list. No problems in life, just happiness, helpfulness and no boredom everywhere, what more I can ask for?

The Noisy Siren

Then, I heard a noise of siren, after few moments, the intensity of the sound increased then it transformed to a ringing sound. You wouldn’t believe what happened next. It was the sound of my alarm clock which woke me up in the morning. The alarm clock made me realize that all of the things I was going through was just a dream.
